Dear Sir:-
Mr. Edison has been asked to nominate a Director for the Automatic Phonograph Exhibition Company. There are to be seven [members?] of the Board, six of whom are already named, the [same?] being Samuel Insull, Jesse H. Lippincott, Thos. T. Eckert, Jr., [Chas.?] P. Bruch, Felix Gottschalk and Chas. A. [Cheever?]. Mr. Edison would like to have you serve as the seventh Director. It will occupy little, if any, of your time and I shall be glad if you will let me know by bearer if your name can be proposed.
Yours very truly,
A. O. Tate
