Feb. 25. 1891.
Mr. John Kreusi, Gen’l Manager,
Edison General Electric Company, Schenectady, N.Y.
Dear Sir:-
At Mr. Edison’s request we sent to you yesterday the patterns of the 1/8th and ¼ h. p. machines. You will notice that we have lengthened the bearings, making them four to one; these were too short in the first model. We are also in favor of putting a hub on spider that holds armature, as that would stiffen it up very much. We will send the patterns for the 1/16th, 1/2 and 1 h. p. motors immediately after Mr. Kennelly has tested them.
Yours very truly,
Edison Laboratory
