Dear Sir:-
Here is a letter from Mr. Winslow Allerdice, in regard to arc light carbons, which Mr. Edison says may be just the thing we want. He has written Mr. Allerdice for a few samples which will be tested upon arrival. Please return the accompanying letter after perusal.
