Dear Sir:-
I beg to confirm the following telegram sent you this morning:
“Do nothing in connection with Livor matter until you hear further from me. Thos. A. Edison.”

Replying to your letter of 5th instant, I beg to inform you that Mr. Edison’s time is entirely taken up with his own inventions, and it is impracticable for him to give any consideration to outside matters.
