The Bonsack Machine Co.,
D.B. Strouse, Esq., President,
Salem, Virginia.
Dear Sir:-
Your letter of 9th instant is at hand.
The cigarette machines are for us in Italy. The Italian Minister of Finance is a friend of mine, and he has requested me to obtain for him information as to price etc. of your machines, which he is desirous of introducing into his country, providing he can obtain them on reasonable terms. He has received a price which he considers too high.
Yours very truly,
(Signed Thomas A. Alva)
