Replying to your letter of 11th instant addressed is Mr. Edison, as I informed you in my letter of yesterday, the [illegible text] & Constable [illegible text] is not in our safe at the Laboratory, and [illegible text] there contain a description of Mr. Edison’s [illegible text].
