Dear Sir:-
Replying to your letter of 17th instant addressed by Mr. Edison, the letter I regret to say is now at the mines is Ogden, N.J. and will not be back here for ten days. You might communicate with him again at the end of that time. Mr. Tate is also [illegible text] and is not expected to return for some weeks yet.
