Dear Sir:-
Mr. Edison has read your letter of 28th instant, re Colonial Patents and Proposed Assignment to British Company, at London. In reply he has instructed me to say to you that he wants everything in the way of expenses that his contract entitles him to. In other words, he wants all he can get. Mr. Edison says further that he must obtain the Electric Railway licenses before transferring any more patents. He also desires to be furnished with copies of the patents.
