Dear Sir:-
At Mr. Edison’s request I forward to you the enclosed letter from Major Eaton, in regard to certain mining appliance signed by the [illegible text] Mining Company, which that Company is desirous of selling. Mr. Edison desires you to inspect this machinery and communicate with him in regard to it.
