TO WHOM IT MAY CONCERN:
This is to certify that the bearer, G. SACCO ALEANESE, has been [illegible text] in my Laboratory for the past eight months, during which period he performed all the work assigned to him in a satisfactory manner. He is very anxious to acquire a knowledge of electrical engineering and is in search of a position where he will be allowed an opportunity of devoting himself to that work. He is very willing and reliable young man, and I cheerfully recommend him to any one in need of such services as he is capable of rendering.
(Signed Thomas A. Edison)
