April 15, 1891.
Samuel Insull, Esq.,
P.O. Box 3097, New York City.
Dear Sir:-
I have your letter of 14th instant, acknowledging the receipt of Certificates Nos. 75 and 92 of The Sims-Edison Electric Torpedo Co., for 20 shares and 10 shares, respectively. I note what you say in regard to the Certificate for 20 shares being in the name of Mr. Edison his name being filled in on the transfer endorsed on the back. Will I get Mr. Edison to execute an assignment of the stock represented by this certificate? That would save you the trouble of making two transfers.
Yours very truly,
(Signed A.O. Tate)
Private Secretary.
