John H. Wood, Esq.,
18 & 20 Liberty St.,
New York City.
Dear Sir:-
Will you please forward to Major S.B. Eaton, No. 120 Broadway, New York City, a complete list of the insurance on my residence and property in Llewellyn Park. Send him a copy of the one which is on file at the Laboratory, and which shows a total insurance of $148,900; whereas the attached list, forwarded to me by Major Eaton, shows a total of only $72,500. Please give this your immediate attention.
Mrs. Edison has gone away and will be absent about a month. Upon her return she wants all policies covering house property placed in her hands.
Yours very truly,
(Signed Thos. A. Edison)
