Dear Sir:-
With reference to your letter of 14th instant addressed to Mr. Edison, the gentleman who negotiated for the purchase of the Silver Lake property from Mr. W.G. Smith, informs us that there was no agreement that Mr. Edison should pay half of the tax for 1890. All of the conditions of the agreement have been fulfilled.
