April 20, 1891.
Thomas Egleston, Esq., School of Mines,
Columbia College,
49th St. & Fourth Ave,
New York.
Dear Sir:-
Your letter of 4th instant in regard to a Grinder, has remained unanswered owing to the absence of Mr. Edison, who returned to the Laboratory only a few days ago.
We have only got a little make-shift Crusher at the Laboratory, which we are sure would not answer your purpose.
Yours truly,
(Signed A.O. Tate)
Private Secretary.
