John Kreusi, Esq., Gen’l. Manager,
Edison General Electric Company,
Schenectady, N.Y.
Dear Sir:-
Mr. Edison gave me some samples of insulating material, of which your #2 socket washers o bases are made, to be duplicated or improved upon. I have been working on the material and have several compounds, which, I think, I will answer, but in order to test the materials completely would like to mould some of the washers or bases from each material. Can you furnish me with one of the moulds or dies which you use for this purpose? Also if you can give me an idea of the way in which you mould them in practice it will greatly facilitate my work, as I can then adapt the material to the process of moulding now used, without requiring change of apparatus.
Yours very truly,
J.W Aylesworth
