2nd June, 1891.
Henry C. Ware, Esq.,
Edison Phonograph Works,
Orange, N.J.
Dear Sir:-
On submitting to Mr. Edison this morning Summary of Works Pay Roll for week ending 27th May, 1891, he desired me to remind you in regard to the length of time which was specified to the Edison United Phonograph Co. as necessary for the making of tools before work could be commenced on their machines. Mr. Edison says that from the looks of the pay roll it would seem that you are not doing much work on the tools, and he fears that you will not have them done in the time named by your Mr. Ballou.
Yours very truly,
A.O. Tate
Private Secretary.
