Dear Madame,-
I enclose herewith a letter from the Secretary of the Improvement Society of Menlo Park. Mr. Edison would like to have your opinion as to whether he should instruct the Society to remove the plank walk referred to or have it repaired. He does not desire to spend any money on it.
