June 8, 1891. Messrs. Dyer & Seely, 36 Wall Street, New York City. Dear Sirs:- I beg to acknowledge the receipt from you of Swiss Patent No. 2881, dated August 25th, 1890, granted to me for an improvement in Electric Railways, Set No. 93; also French Patent No. 210,743, dated January 13th, 1891, granted to me for an improvement in Incandescent Electric Lamps, Set No. 97. I note what you say in regard to its being necessary, in connection with the Swiss Patent referred to in the foregoing, to file a model or a photograph of the model, to make the said patent a complete one, and in reply I beg to say that I do not think it is worth while to comply with these conditions. Yours very truly, Thos A. Edison
