June 10, 1891.
Alfred O. Tate, Esq.,
Edison Building, Broad St.,
New York City.
Dear Sir:-
Referring to the Convention of the National Phonograph Association which is to be held in New York 16th instant, and to Mr. Lombard’s desire to bring to the Laboratory some of the delegates thereto, Mr. Edison says that he had no objection to Mr. Lombard doing this. He would like, however, to be informed as to the date upon which Mr. Lombard will visit Orange, for the reason that he wants Mr. Ballou to have one of the new phonographs ready for inspection.
Yours very truly,
Thomas A. Maguire
