Dear Sir:-
At Mr. Edison’s request I send to you the enclosed invitation received from Mr. P. Callanan of the Limsetone Quarry, South Bethlehem, N.Y., when it is exported 60,000 tons of rock will be displaced. Mr. Edison thinks that it might be worth your while to go and see this, and he would like to know what you think about it. Please reply by return mail, and return the invitation, so that its receipt may be acknowledged to Mr. Callanan.
Yours truly,
A.O. Tate
