June 10, 1891 The Bethlehem Iron Company, South Bethlehem, Pa. Dear Sirs:- I am very much obliged for your letter of 9th inst., enclosing report of analyses of concentrated ore received by you during April and May, 1891. The reason why the iron decreased is, because we had get down to the bottom of our Stock House, which was filled with ore made during the first run of the mill. Hereafter I think that there will not be much change and that the iron will run up and the phosphorous run down. I am making an additional attachment which will have the effect of running up the iron still higher and the phosphorous very much lower. Yours very truly, Thos A. Edison
