June 13, 1891. Mr. P. Callanan, South Bethlehem, N.Y. Dear Sir:- I am very much obliged to you for your letter of 18th instant, enclosing invitation to a big blast which is to take place at your quarry on the 16th instant. I regret that it will be impossible for me to go and see this blast, but I have forwarded the invitation to one of my agents, Mr. O.J. Conley, and it is possible that he may be present when the blast takes place. Thanking you for your invitation I am, yours very truly, Thomas A. Edison
