June 23, 1891.
Samuel Insull, Esq., 2nd Vice-President,
Edison Gen’l . Electric Co.,
New York City.
Dear Sir:-
Your letter of 9th instant, attached to which is copy of a communication addressed by you to Major Eaton, on the subject of Electric Welding Patents, has again been brought up to my attention.
In reply I beg to inform you that I am entirely too busy with other matters to take up this welding business. Besides which, I have no heart in it and am not at all inclined to give any thought to it. Perhaps you can make some arrangement with the Baltimore people to whom you refer in your letter.
Yours very truly,
Thom Edison
