Samuel Insull Esq., 2nd Vice-President
Edison Gen'l Electric Co.,
New York City
Dear Sir:-
Mr. Edison has instructed me to forward to you the enclosed correspondence from Harry L. Fracer, who was formerly employed in the Machine Works at Goerick Street, New York where he met with an accident to his eyes, which resulted in the loss of his sight. You will see from the correspondence what Mr. Edison has already done for this man. His object in referring the matter to yourself is to ascertain whether you feel inclined to respond to Fraser's appeal for additional pecuniary assistance, and if so, if you will arrange to have something done for him. Mr. Edison feels that he has done all in this matter that could be expected of him.
Yours very truly,
A.O. Tate
