Tooke Straker, Esq.,
Port Oram, N.J.
Dear Sir:-
I am very much obliged for your letter of 27th ultimo and for the pass over the road of the Morris Co, Railroad enclosed therein.
We shall not bid up the price on Green Pond. The mine is not very suitable for our purpose, and I do not think Senator Jones is negotiating for it. We have made a survey and find some fair shoots at Green Pond.
Yours very truly,
Tooke Straker, Esq.,
