July 23, 1891. Samuel Insull, Esq., P.O. Box 3,057, New York City. Dear Sir:- Re the attached letter from C. L. Smyth, No. 241 South Fifth Street, Philadelphia. Dr. Smyth telephoned to Mr. Ware the other day from New York, asking if the Phonograph Works would built a coin-slot-machine for him, which is designed to release a sheet of paper and an envelope. He states that he will use large numbers of these but has not gone into any particulars. Please advise me in the matter and oblige. Yours truly, A.O. Tate Private Secretary.
