July 23, 1891. My Dear Logue, I have your letter of 21st instant, in regard, in regard to the eating off of zincs. We are giving special attention to this matter now, and by making the zincs shorter and thicker, we believe we can avoid the trouble in future. I do not think you are right about the oil. Before we introduced oil we had far more trouble than we are having now. I think it quite probable that the last lot of oil we got was not as good as previous supplies which we have had.
