July 24th, 1891.
Phillip S. Dyer Esq.,
Rue Osy 43rd
Antwerp, Belgium.
Dear Sir:-
I enclose herewith copy of a letter we have received from Messrs. Dyer & Seely, in regard to Mr. Slattery’s patent on an electrode for secondary batteries. I also hand you copy of Mr. Slattery’s specification, forming part of Letters Patent No. 445, 104, February 10th, 1891. I would suggest your submitting all this correspondence to Dr. de Lalande. It seems as if it were impossible to do anything now towards recovering the invention of Des Mazures. Perhaps Dr. de Lalande may be able to suggest something.
Yours very truly,
A.O. Tate
