Dear Mr. Catlin
In reply to your letter of 5th inst, I beg to say that Mr. Edison is out in the wilds of New Jersey and I don’t know when he is going to return. He has not been in Orange for the last couple of months and as he is going about from place to place examining a number of mining properties we are not able to get at him to secure his attention to correspondence.
