S.G. Burn Esq.,
Dear Sir.,
On the 31st July you wrote to me stating to me that Mr. Edison meant for you to discharge the De Hartmen. I sent this letter to Mr. Edison and he returned it to me with the following notes upon it “Let De Hartmen go to”. Will you please carry out Mr. Edison’s instructions.
