Dear Sir,- I enclose herewith a letter which I have received from Major Eaton asking if the Phonograph Works received a notice from Mr. Baitz[?], the signee of Jesse H. Lippincott, calling for claims against Mr. Lippincott to be filed before the 15th pros, Have you received such a notice?
I have told Major Eaton that I am not aware that the Phonograph Works have any claim against Mr. Lippincott; theirclaim is against the North [illegible] the details of the same are in Major Eaton's hands.
Please answer this letter to Broad St.
