19th Augst 1891 H B. Ware Esq., Edison Phonograph Works, Orange N.J. Dear Sir,- I enclose herewith a letter which I have received from Major Eaton asking if the Phonograph Works received a notice from Mr. Baitz[?], the signee of Jesse H. Lippincott, calling for claims against Mr. Lippincott to be filed before the 15th pros, Have you received such a notice? I have told Major Eaton that I am not aware that the Phonograph Works have any claim against Mr. Lippincott; their claim is against the N.A.P. Co. and the details of the same are in Major Eaton's hands. Please answer this letter to Broad St. Yours very truly, A.O. Tate Private Secretary
