Experimental account.
August 18th, 1891.
W.S. Perry, Esq., Treasurer,
Edison Ore Milling Company, Limited,
Edison Building, New York City.
Dear Sir: –
I hand you herewith statement of account against the Ore Milling Company to July 1st. 1891 for experiments conducted by Mr. Edison amounting to $37,072.80. I have been trying for the last six weeks to obtain a settlement of this account but do not seem to make much progress. Will you be kind enough to let me know if there is anything that I have omitted to do that would hasten it! I understood when I spoke to Mr. Insull about it last, that a settlement would be made forthwith, but up to the date present letter nothing whatever has been done.
Please be kind enough to let me hear from you, and oblige.
Yours very truly,
A.O. Tate
