Dear Sir:--
I have your letter of the 31st ultimo in regard to money and stock due Mr. Frank McGowan. I have sent to the Laboratory for some information, and will communicate with you as soon as I receive it.
In regard to Frank McGowan’s stock, the secretary of the Edison Ore Milling Company hold’s Frank’s receipt for twenty five shares, which were delivered to him shortly after his return from South America. I have not the least idea what became of this stock, as I am not aware of where Mr. Frank McGowan kept his securities.
Yours very truly,
A.O. Tate
