J.W. Gladstone, Esq.,
Edison Manufacturing Company, Orange N. J.
Dear Sir:--
At my request Mr. Hamilton called upon me this morning with his metal combined zinc and frame holder which obviates the necessity of using supporters between their zinc and the copper plates, holding the elements rigid at uniform distances each from the other. I desire to have a metal holder made from Mr. Hamilton’s design/ Mr. Hamilton will carve this pattern, after which, please furnish me with requisition on the Edison Phonograph Works so that he can obtain the casting.
Yours truly,
A.O. Tate
