My Dear Sir:--
I have interrogated Major Eaton in regard to the course which you should pursue in order to obtain a record of your stock in the Edison Ore Milling Company, Limited which disappeared at the time of the Disappearance of Frank McGowan, and hand you herewith, copy of communication addressed t me by the Major under date the 19th instant.
I would suggest your writing a formal application to the Edison Ore Milling Company, Limited, asking them to permit a reissue of the stock, and to indicate the amount of the bond, and how many sureties they will require. The matter can be brought to the attention of the Board of Directors and settled in due course.
Yours truly,
A.O. Tate
