September 22nd, 1891.
Thomas R. Lombard, Esq., Vice President,
North American Phonograph Company,
14 & 16 Morrow St.,
Jersey City, N.J.
Dear Sir:--
During the recent Exhibition at Montreal, the Members of the National Electric Light Assoiation presented a phonograph to Professor Bovy of the McGill University.
I have been asked by one of the representatives of the Association to intercede for them in order to obtain the lowest discounts that can be given on this instrument. I am informed that they have already paid $140.00 for it. Anything that you can will be very highly appreciated by myself and by the Members
Has the Exhibition closed yet? I wish you would arrange so that an accounting may be promptly made in accordance with my letter to you regarding the Exhibition of Phonographs. I would like to have this matter speedily settled, and will be there for your assistance.
Very truly yours,
A.O. Tate
