Edison General Electric Co.,

Dear Sir:-
This will introduce Mr. Garrett B. Hunt, of the law firm of Messrs Rudd, Hunt & Wilder who represent the administrator of the estate of the late Frank McGowan.
Mr. Hunt has just made an inspection of the account of Mr. McGowan on our laboratory books, for the purpose of satisfying the administrator that the amount which stands to Mr. McGowan’s credit thereon is correct, and he now desires to examine the Lamp Works books, in order that he may satisfy the administrator that Mr. McGowan’s account with the late Edison Lamp Co., has been settled. I was very glad to give Mr. Hunt the opportunity of examining the Laboratory books that I assume you will have no objection to his examining the books of the Lamp Works.
Yours very truly,
A.O. Tate
