41 Broad Street, New York. October 8th, 1891. A.B. Dick, Esq., 152 Lake Street, Chicago, Ill. My Dear Dick:- I have your letter of the 6th instant and have instructed the Laboratory to send to your Office in Philadelphia a large photograph of Mr. Edison with his autograph. It will arrive in the course of a few days. Yours truly, A.O. Tate Private Secretary. <Marginalia: Phil sailed yesterday. I learn that his wife is dangerously ill but have had no particulars as yet I trust it is not really serious. A.O.T.>
