184/507 M. F. Edison Building, New York. October 19th, 1891. Phillip S. Dyer, Esq., Care of Second Vice President’s Office, Edison General Electric Company, New York. Dear Sir:- I hand you herewith letter from Mr. Gladstone in regard to cells which we have packed ready for shipment: the fifteen “C” cells referred to are three phonographs which were presented to certain distinguished persons in London and comprised of a four cell battery for each of these. Mr. Butler is going to write or has written to your London Office giving full information as to their disposition. The other sets which have been packed are for Russia for Lalande, Lalande’s shipment being the two single sets of galvanic and endoscopic cells.
