October 31st, 1891. J.W. Gladstone, Esq., Edison Manufacturing Company, Orange, N.J. Dear Sir:- I have your letter of the 30th instant. You, of course understand that we cannot use aseparatorconnector that is going to increase the cost of our cells. I thought that by discarding theseparatorconnector at present in use, and using one of the new model, the change could be made without any increase of price whatever, and I still hope you will be able to accomplish this.
