MEMORANDUM FOR MAJOR EATON:
November 4th, 1891
I return you herewith Mr. Bush’s letter of the 13th ultimo. I have had a very satisfactory interview with Mr. Edison upon this subject, and want to see you as soon as possible so that we can discuss what modifications we should propose to Bush. Mr. Edison denied absolutely that he had made any arrangement whatever with Auerbach, or that anyone except myself is authorized to deal with the Phonograph matter. This ought to be satisfactory to Mr. Bush, as you know full well that I have had nothing to do with the matter except through yourself.
Samuel Insull
Enclosure.
