Dear Sir:-
In reply to your letter of the 24th instant, I beg to say that I will advise you as soon as Mr. Edison returns to Orange. I had a message from him yesterday to the effect that the date of his return is very uncertain at present, but I think it altogether probable that he will be home within ten days or two weeks.
