Dear Sir:-
I hand you herewith a notice from the Department of Taxes and Assessments of New York, addressed to Mr. Edison, and assessing him for personal estate for the year 1892, $10,000.00. Mir Edison is not a citizen of New York, and I presume that this bill has been made out against him in error. Will you kindly advise me and oblige.
