Dear Sir:-
Referring to your letter to me under date November 7th in regard to testing Mr. Edison’s new system of Electric Railway Propulsion on the track which your Company is building in West Orange, I beg to advise you that I submitted this matter to Mr. Edison and he has had it under consideration. I am this morning in receipt of a letter from him, asking me to thank you for your kind offer and to inform you that the Edison General Electric Company have decided to make this test in New York City.
