Dear Sir:-
Referring to the interview which I had with you a few days ago I enclose herewith a letter which I addressed to our Counsel, Messrs.Eaton & Lewis, together with a copy of Major Eaton’s reply. I understand that Mr. Frank McGowan’s uncle, Captain McGowan (I do not know his initials) has been appointed administrator of the former’s estate; if you will address a letter to the Surrogate’s Court, City of New York, you will obtain all information on the subject. Your claim against Mr. Frank McGowan should be presented to his administrator whom I have named above.
