Orange, N.J.
September 7th, 1891.
Mr. Tate, Dear Sir:-
Will you please inform me what action has been taken by the Edison Company in reference to the deed of Watchung Avenue to the Township of West Orange.
About six weeks ago a young man called on me, saying he was attorney or agent for the Company and after telling him what the other property owners had done, and what they wished the Edison Company to do, he told me he would let me know in a few days, but I have not heard yet, and the property owners who have signed a deed are harassing me to get the one from the Edison Company. Please let me know soon what they have done, or what will be much more satisfactory, send the deed to me.
Yours truly,
RUFUS MEAD.
