Sept. 16, 1891.
A. O. Tate, Esq., Ass’t. to 2nd Vice-President,
Edison Gen’l. Electric Co.,
Edison Bdg.,
Broad St., New York.
Dear Sir:-
Your letter of 15th instant, enclosing copy of a letter addressed by you to the Manager of the Sales Dep’t. upon the question of economy of lamps supplied to certain Edison Central Stations, is before me.
My opinion is that if the Lamp Factory does not turn out long-life lamps soon, which I think they will, this economy for these lame stations to which you refer should be redeemed to 212 per h. p.
Yours very truly,
T A Edison
