Dear Sir:-
I beg to confirm the following telephone messages exchanged between us to-day:
“Referring to a communication addressed to me by Mr. Edison with relation to applying certain Central Stations with low economy lamps, my understanding is that Mr. Edison means 212 candles per horse power. Please show this message to Mr. Edison. Let me have a reply promptly. A. O. TATE.”
“Your understanding is correct. Mr. Edison means 212 candles per horse power.
