B. Sept. 30th, 1891. Thomas R. Lombard, Esq., Vice-President, North American Phonograph Company, 14 & 16 Morris St., Jersey City, N. J. Dear Sir:- Please accept my thanks for your letter of 25th inst., enclosing copy of letter received from your Canadian Agents, Messrs. Holland Bros., with relation to the “dodger” concerning the phonograph which was distributed in the streets of Montreal; also copy of a letter written by Messrs. Holland Bros. to the party who is responsible for the dodger. I am very pleased to see that your agents appreciate the importance of introducing the phonograph property, and I trust that there will not be a repetition of the “faking” methods complained of. Thanking you for the trouble you have taken in the matter, I am Yours very truly, AO Tate Private Secretary.
