Sept. 30, 1891.
Edison Ore Milling Co., Limited,
New York City.
Dear Sirs:-
On the 13th of January, 1890, I made a transaction with the late Frank McGowan, whereby he assumed the temporary custody of one hundred and fifty (150) shares of the stock of the Edison Ore Milling Company, Limited belonging to me, and in my name, the certificates being No. 1123, representing 50 shares. Shortly after the date mentioned Mr. McGowan disappeared and the Court has appointed an Administrator for his estate, which is now being settled. At the time of his disappearance Mr. McGowan had on his person the certificate named above, since which time nothing whatever has been seen or heard of him. I desire to have the stock reissued and will be glad if you will indicate the amount of the bond that you will require from me, and the number of sureties, if any.
I will be greatly indebted if you can give this matter your immediate attention.
Yours very truly,
